Bringing Middle Housing & Public Green Space to the Heart of Clackamas County
Monroe Park Middle Housing is a proposed 20-acre infill public-private partnership in the heart of North Clackamas County. The project will include a 9.5-acre public park in an area currently lacking green space and will develop 122 for-sale townhomes, designed to be affordable for families earning 80-100% of the area median income (AMI).
This project will utilize Oregon’s House Bill 2001, which allows for increased density through “middle housing” in single-family zones. Made possible by a strategic partnership with North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District and the Clackamas County Development Agency, the development will be located along the Monroe Street Improvement Project—a 1.5-mile corridor enhancement that will improve safety and livability through wider rights-of-way, roundabouts, and multi-use pathways.
