The Bluebird Apartments will bring high-quality, affordable housing to Portland’s Glenfair neighborhood. This development will offer a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes, designed to balance comfort, functionality, and accessibility for households earning less than 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) in Multnomah County.

Located near the MAX light rail, The Bluebird will support diverse commuting needs with covered bike storage and onsite parking. Each home will feature modern amenities, including in-unit washers and dryers, air conditioning, luxury vinyl plank flooring, stainless steel Energy Star appliances, and quartz countertops.

The Bluebird Apartments will reflect a commitment to creating housing solutions that enhance community well-being. Residents will also benefit from support services provided by All Good Northwest, offering assistance with housing stability, healthcare, disability support, and education resources.

The project will be made possible through a combination of public funding and private financing, reflecting a collaborative effort with Home First Development to address affordable housing needs in Portland. The project is financed with $5.2 million in Local Innovation Fast Track (LIFT) funds from Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS), a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Grant from Metro to support energy efficiency, and debt financing from KeyBank.
